Stone Soup Journal is where I write while building Stone Soup Tea.

I left my previous work to learn how things grow. Now I’m building a tea practice around wild-grown and naturally farmed leaves from Taiwan. Tea that grows without human intervention, shaped entirely by the land.

This journal is where the living happens as it unfolds. Some of these stories are about mountains, some about farming, some about the unglamorous parts of starting over. They’re all part of the same process.

These stories aren’t separate from the tea; they’re why it exists.
